Development Centres
There’s no such thing as a standard Development Centre at Ashbourne.
We work with organisations – particularly during times of significant change – to identify and respond to the real development needs of their employees. That involves generating realistic business scenarios and using tools such as career analysis and psychometric profiling to identify gaps between current performance and future requirements.
We then design Development Centres that accurately simulate the work that participants are expected to complete in their current role or the one they are working towards. It’s all about attending to individual needs in a challenging, stimulating yet supportive environment. Our Development Centre activities fall into three key categories:
Development Events
-
We develop and deliver bespoke development events related to strategic and operational issues
-
We design these events in close co-operation with our client and ensure a fit with the organisation’s operational needs
-
We are happy to ensure we transfer the skills and knowledge needed to run such events to the client’s staff if this is helpful
Leadership Development Programmes
-
We design and deliver Leadership Development Programmes based around the strategic challenges facing an organisation. How can leaders shape the future direction of their business unit in line with wider corporate objectives? How can they meet the expectations of senior decision-makers while simultaneously managing and inspiring their own teams? By addressing such vital issues, participants acquire the knowledge and confidence to take their performance to the next level.
Management Development Programmes
-
Our Management Development Programmes also reflect the operational, strategic and corporate challenges facing an organisation. Managers learn about their strengths, identify areas for improvement and use this new self-awareness to generate improved results in their own performance and that of their team.
